Eyal Pinko (Navy Commander, retired) holds Israel's security award, prime minister's decoration of excellence, DDR&D decoration of distinction, and IDF commander in chief decoration of excellence.
CDR. (ret.) Pinko served in the Israeli navy for 23 years, in operational, technological and intelligence duties. He served for five more years as the head of the operational-intelligence division at the prime minister office (Civilian rank equal to Rear Admiral).
CDR. (ret.) Pinko holds a Bachelor's degree with Honor in Electronics Engineering and three Master's Degrees with Honor in Political Sciences, Public Management, and Organizational Development. He is a graduate of the National Senior Intelligence Course and other specialized intelligence training courses. In 2019 he successfully defends his Ph.D. thesis in the field of Defense and Security Studies at Bar-Ilan University, Israel. CDR. (Ret.) Pinko is the head of the Master’s program in “Strategy, Intelligence and Cyber Security” at the same university. For more than two years he was a senior consultant at the Israeli National Cyber Directorate.
CDR. (ret.) Pinko has been a keynote speaker in many cyber and strategy conferences around the world. He is also a senior researcher in several international think-tanks, being author of more than 200 articles published in English and Hebrew.
